PLAN YOUR NEXT EGYPTIAN ADVENTURE WITH US...
We like to keep things simple. Our primary offering is a 12-day trip but we are happy to customize the experience to your liking. Sand-covered pyramids, magnificent tombs, bejeweled museums, bazaars, and a mythic river... this is Egypt, and any proper visit to this ancient land must include these treasures at a minimum. You will see these magnificent sights in style and comfort with us.
Our tours have no more than 15 people. This means you get to experience very personalized service and hospitality on every leg of your trip. Everything we do has been designed for a small group. In this, we can offer a more customized and intimate experience which allows us to take advantage of unplanned experiences that a larger tour group would not be able to accommodate. We will show you sights and sounds both on and off the beaten path. Experience Egyptian life, customs and traditions like a local all in the company of experienced professional licensed local guides and private drivers.
We are confident you will be impressed by our service and value and we're sure you will love the flexibility that traveling with a small group provides. Want to sit out a tour or excursion, no problem at all. The trip is yours for the making!
Our Tried & True 12-Day Tour
We've done it all... from a one week Egypt Express vacation to three weeks of Ultimate Relaxation... but our 12-day trip is the perfect combination of adventure and leisure.
You will spend the first day and evening in-country in Giza to soak in the sights and sounds of the mighty Pyramids and Sphinx - both up close and personal on-site as well as overlooking them at our hotel. On the following morning, we will depart to downtown Cairo to tour the Grand Egyptian Museum and visit several places of worship including The Hanging Church, St Sergius and St Bacchus Coptic Church, a Greek Orthodox church and Jewish synagogue. In the evening, we will fly south to Aswan for the beginning of our Nile River sail aboard our own private dahabiya boat.
The next morning, we will enjoy breakfast onboard the dahabiya followed by a full day with visits to the High Dam & Nasser Lake, the Sanctuary of Isis at Philae Temple, an Egyptian Cotton Store and the Unfinished Obelisk.
Day 5 is highlighted by an optional trip (additional cost) to Abu Simbel, the site of two temples built by the powerful Egyptian King Ramses II, located in ancient times at pharaonic Egypt's southern frontier facing Nubia (pro tip: the 3-hour drive is worth it!). Those who prefer to stay with the boat will spend your day touring the Botanical Gardens in Aswan. In the evening, we will reconvene and attend a Nubian party with dinner and dancing.
On Day 6, we will have a leisurely pace sailing to Kom Ombo Temple to explore and visit the Crocodile Museum.
We proceed to the town of Edfu on the day following, the hometown of our guide, Mostafa. We'll journey to visit the Temple of Horus by carriage ride.
After traveling through the locks at Esna, we will set sail towards Luxor where we spend 3 days and 2 nights at the historic Winter Palace Hotel. On the West Bank of the Nile, we'll explore tombs in the Valley of the Kings and see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. There is a choice of an early morning hot air balloon ride (additional cost) that will take your breath away. We'll visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples, a local papyrus store as well as the intriguing Luxor Museum.
Our trip home will shortly follow with a direct flight from Cairo International Airport.
